Basically, each unit consists of a hand-held cordless driver plus an inter-changeable attachment. An electric driver with adjustable torque is also available upon request.
Your unique application decides whether cap retaining or non-retaining attachment is used.

Multi-Channel Decapper and Capper for Microcentrifuge Tubes and Cryovials
Two 4-channel decappers and recappers in combination with an individual and separate inter-locking rack are available to increase sample throughput as shown below. Each model is portable. compact, light-weight, and ideal for use on a benchtop. Using a dual directional switch with adjustable torque driver specially designed four individual gears/grippers to decap or cap four tubes/vials simultaneously. These systems are designed for efficient tube/vial decapping/capping in labs with medium throughput. Equally suited for use with both internal thread and external thread sample storage tubes/vials.
Electric decapper and recapper removes caps of microcentrifuge tubes and cryovials followed by recapping them using an AC operated driver and a cap non retaining gripper. Driver has a dual switches for decapping and capping operations. Tube and vial holding racks are used for preventing cap spinning.
